All academic documents issued by East Bridge University are eligible for international legalisation, subject to the regulations of the receiving country and authority.
Apostille & e-Apostille Services
What is an Apostille?
An Apostille is an official certification issued under the Hague Apostille Convention that verifies the authenticity of signatures, seals, and the legal status of documents for use abroad.
What is an e-Apostille?
An e-Apostille (electronic Apostille) is the digital form of a traditional Apostille, issued and verified electronically by authorised authorities.
- It carries the same legal validity as a physical Apostille
- It is digitally signed and verifiable online
- It does not require physical courier delivery
- It is recognised by Hague Convention member countries that accept electronic apostilles
France is an active participant in the HCCH e-APP (Electronic Apostille Program), and e-Apostilles issued through authorised French authorities are internationally valid where accepted by the receiving institution or authority.
Embassy Legalisation (Non-Hague Countries)
For countries that are not signatories to the Hague Apostille Convention, EBU assists with Embassy or Consular Legalisation through the relevant embassy in Paris.
This process may involve:
- Notarisation
- Ministry-level authentication
- Embassy attestation
