B.Ed. in Pre and Primary Education – East Bridge University (EBU)
The psychological development of a child in his early years of education greatly influences who the child becomes as an adult. Hence, pre-primary and primary educators play a vital role in shaping the interests, hobbies, and outlook of children.
We, at East Bridge University, have developed our B.Ed. program in Pre and Primary Education keeping in mind the skillsets and expertise required for early years education. The course combines rigorous academic training along with practical exposure where the candidates learn a wide range of methods and techniques required in the development of curriculum and classroom teaching techniques in pre and primary education.
Course Overview
The B.Ed. program with specialisation pre and primary education specifically prepares our participants in core areas of early education such as child development, curriculum planning for the appropriate stages, and activities that assist in emotional, social, motor skills, and language comprehension. The course focuses on training the candidates with skillsets that will enable them to assess the needs and interests of a child at their early stages of development.
Often pre-school is the first place where a child comes across creative arts, music, science, and writing. Educators need to expose the children to games, books, and arts as per their interests and affinity. The course focuses on nutrition and child psychology while at the same time training candidates to build effective classroom curricula and teaching methods. The candidates also learn the basics of child counseling.
