Paris Residential Program - East Bridge University

East Bridge University offers an exclusive 6-day residential program in Paris for our students in the Department of Education. The program offers a unique opportunity to network with world-renowned professionals and academicians. It is an exciting opportunity for EBU students to experience in-person academic workshops in an international setting.

Program Insights

Our Paris residential program is an intensive 6-day workshop where the students can interact with international educators and immerse in the experience of learning innovative teaching practices. We have five different workshops among which the students are required to choose any one.

East Bridge University provides the following five workshops:

  • Fun and Effective Activities for Language Teachers
  • Teach with a Twist! Motivate Your Students with Creative Teaching Strategies
  • Digital Tools and Techniques for Student Engagement
  • ICT Basic Tools for Gamification and 21st Century Skills
  • Facing Diversity: Intercultural Classroom Management

Within the program, EBU students will get to engage with students from Erasmus Scholarships along with international educators. This presents them with an excellent opportunity to get international exposure that will aid them in their future academic and professional pursuits.

However, attending the program is not a mandatory requirement for the completion of the course that the student has opted for. This is a skill-enhancement and complimentary workshop aimed at helping the students to get global exposure.

East Bridge University’s 6-Day Residential Campus Program in Paris enables students to gain important insights into the global educational landscape by learning international trends and practices. This immersive program can benefit the students in various ways:

  • Gain new ideas and perspectives on teaching and learning methods.
  • Get to know about various educational concepts such as a teacher's liberty and control over performance evaluation and instruction.
  • Know about the role that technology plays in 21st-century teaching practices and gain knowledge about the different ways contemporary technological advancement is used in teaching and learning.
  • Acquire conceptual knowledge of innovative and creative teaching practices.
  • Learn about the various teaching and learning methods and protocols followed in Paris and in international educational spheres.

Duration and Date

The Paris Residential Program is generally held four times a year. The student needs to inform the Academic team at East Bridge University about his/her preferred time.

Workshops are generally held in the morning (9:00-13:45) or afternoon (14:00-18:45) based on availability. However, the final schedule will be provided two weeks before the program commences.

Certification

Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance upon completion of at least 80% of the course.

Payment and Cancellation

The fee for EBU’s Residential Program in Paris is included within the course fees. The program is not mandatory for students and they can choose whether or not to attend the same.

Cancellation: If the student cancels after confirmation or does not show up, he/she will not have the opportunity to participate at a later date.

Accommodation and Visa Support

The University can provide a list of recommended hotels with special rates to the participants. For bookings and reservations, the participant can contact our support team to confirm the dates. However, the accommodation and travel costs are not covered by EBU.

EBU provides the necessary documentation for visa applications upon request. The students are requested to check the official Foreign Ministry website for more visa information.
