The MBA in Environment, Health, and Safety Management emphasises the critical elements of developing a safety policy, as well as how to effectively introduce a safety plan to employees and develop a strong communications strategy. Safety training, incident response plans, health and safety inspections, and safety audits will also be covered, ensuring that participants have a thorough understanding of safety practices.

Students will understand their obligations as employers in the context of workplace harassment. The course will cover topics such as defining workplace harassment, establishing workplace policies, the role of managerial support, intervention methods, and effective complaint handling.

Procedure writing skills will be honed, as will the ability to create effective flowcharts to depict process activities and comprehend various procedure types. Various methods for manual creation and procedure development will be investigated.

Participants will learn how to recognise symptoms of chronic stress overload as well as actions that contribute to stress levels. Implementing actions to reduce unhealthy stress will be a major focus, allowing individuals to manage stress on their own and assist others in coping with change.

Participants will recognise pressure points, define their goals, manage stressors, set objectives, validate emotions, and create a more balanced life through interactive exercises.

Environmental management will also be covered, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct internal environmental audits. Students will understand the advantages of establishing an Environmental Management System (EMS) and the steps required to create one. Determining an organization's environmental impact and setting objectives and targets will also be covered, with a practical case study to provide hands-on experience in developing an EMS.
