B.Ed. in Special Education – East Bridge University (EBU)

The program also focuses on understanding the Individualised Education Program (IEP) and delivering specialised designed instructional curriculum.

Eligibility
To be eligible to pursue a Bachelor of Education in Special Educational Needs, an applicant must meet the following criteria:
- A diploma or certificate of high-school completion, or its equivalent.
- Prior professional experience, or prior learning credits
- A basic English Proficiency Level (IELTS Level 5.0, or studied all subjects in English at High School, or at least 55% of marks in English at High School).
- Knowledge of conducting basic online research through internet browsing and proficiency in MS Word is desired.

Teaching Practice (30 Credits)
- A structured, evidence-based practicum comprising a minimum of 45 hours of classroom engagement. Students will document their learning through observed Teaching Practice sheets, and performance-based evidence of teaching skills with real learners.
Action Research Project (30 Credits)
- A focused research inquiry aligned with the student’s chosen specialization. This component integrates principles of action research, reflective pedagogy, and specialization-specific exploration to foster critical thinking and professional growth. The action research project will help the student to critically examine real-life issues, apply evidence-based strategies and reflect on professional experiences.
Upon successful completion up to the Specialisation modules, learners shall be eligible to receive the B.Ed Certificate from East Bridge University (EBU), along with a transcript reflecting 180 credits.
Upon completion of the entire program, including the Teaching Practice component and the Action Research Project, learners shall be eligible to receive the B.Ed Certificate from Preah Sihamoniraja Buddhist University (PSBU), with a transcript reflecting 240 credits.
Duration
Students can complete a Bachelors of Education program from East Bridge University within a minimum duration of 18 months and a maximum of 36 months. Our Program Officers will help you throughout the course to complete the course in an accelerated process.
